Pink Pajama Party is Wunder Studios’ elite all-girl musical revue team. This group presets fully staged solo, duet, and small ensemble scenes. Participation is by audition only. You must be able to learn music independently, take direction, and memorize music, movement, and dialogue. This curriculum emphasizes the development of high level performance skills. It's not too late! Wunder Studios Performing Arts Conservatory announces
a musical theatre class and performance opportunity for singers,
dancers, and actors of all ages. The Rodgers and Hart musical, Babes in
Arms, will be presented with a multiracial cast at the historic
Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge on August 2nd. Unlike the movie and
stage productions over the years, the original 1930s musical has a
strong moral message on race relations and the resolution of a racial
conflict. Wunder Studios welcomes inquiries and encourages auditions,
especially of African American children.
Auditions are open to children (minimum age is 5) and adults. Auditions
will remain open until all roles are cast - call to schedule an
audition. The cast meets on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7pm until the
end of the school year. Rehearsals will begin in June after the end of
the school year. Individual rehearsal schedules are dependent upon
casting. A limited number of scholarships are available.
Wunder Studios Performing Arts Conservatory is located in the Pickwick
Building in Uptown Park Ridge. Wunder Studios is easily reached by car,
CTA or Metra train. Car pools can be arranged. For more information

Wunder Studios’ Winter Performance Class will be performing ‘The Worst Best Christmas Pageant Ever!’ in the historic Pickwick Theater. The play tells the hilarious story of what happens when a family of wild kids takes over the annual Christmas pageant. There are speaking and singing roles for children and adults from age five on up. No experience is required.
All students will participate in the show, but an audition is required for casting purposes to make sure that every participant is given an appropriate challenge. There are a wide variety of speaking and singing roles for both beginning and advanced students.
The Performance Class meets on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7pm. Additional rehearsals are required. Your personal rehearsal schedule will depend on how you are cast in the show. Auditions will be held in early September. Rehearsals begin late-September. The performance will be in mid-December in the historic Pickwick Theatre.
The $240 class tuition includes all instruction and coaching, a pair of complimentary tickets, and a custom cast t-shirt.
