Originally
from Texas, Mrs. Grove holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Music Education from Southwestern University and a Master’s
of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University.
Her most influential voice instructors have been world-renowned
baritone Mr. Gerald Dolter of Texas Tech University, and
master teacher Mr. John Lease of Clark College. As a life-long
student of singing and learning, Mrs. Grove has extensive
experience teaching all levels and ages of singers in schools
and in the private studio setting. During her almost 10
years of teaching experience, she has helped many students
to find, free and advance their singing voices while gaining
a love of all types of music. She now enjoys performing
musical theater, operetta and opera in and around the Chicagoland
area. Audiences have seen her in performances with Starlight
Theater, Park Ridge Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Savoy-aires,
Light Opera Works of Evanston, and the Dubuque Symphony.
