Wunder Studios offers expert instruction in music, theatre, and performance skills. The class sizes are limited so that every student receives personal attention. All classes are taught by working professional performers with an emphasis on empowering students to succeed. Our classes are designed to build their skills and confidence. The curriculum for each session in new, so students may take the same class again and again.
We offer 30, 45, and 60-minute private lessons for most instruments, as well as 45 minute semi-private lessons for selected instruments. The semi-private option, where two students share a lesson, can be beneficial for beginning students. Lessons may begin at any time — all you need to do is make an appointment to get started. Contact us today and we will help you find the approach that best suits your needs. Lessons can be arranged during the day, after school, in the evening, or on weekends.
WunderKids Voice Class
Join us for a great combination of skill building and fun. Research shows that the earlier a child is exposed to musical concepts the greater their potential. This class emphasizes confidence building, ear training, healthy vocal technique, and fundamental musical skills. No experience is necessary, just be ready to sing! Open to ages 5 to 8, min 8/max 25.
Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m., $140 for 10 weeks. No experience is necessary.
Beginning Violin Program
Wunder Studios' Beginning Violin Program is a terrific way to start new violin players on the right path. Students enroll in a weekly 30-minute private lesson and a 45-minute group violin class. The group class is very small so that every student receives the personal attention necessary to foster strong fundamental technique and encourage their love of music. The emphasis is on developing confidence, understanding and technical proficiency, rather than quick results. Private lessons and group classes are scheduled by appointment. Children may start as early as age five. Min 4/max 10.
Group Violin Class
This 45-minute group violin class is open to students in the beginning violin program as well as young players using the first three Suzuki books or similar repertoire. It is an excellent opportunity to experience ensemble playing, refresh pieces already mastered, and to enjoy the process of performing. The group class meets on Thursdays between 6 and 7pm. Children will be scheduled for 45-minutes within that hour based on their skill level. Children may start as early as age five. Min 5/max 10.
Wunder Studios’ performance training program is designed to encourage the artistic development and expression of all students regardless of their experience level. Each student receives regular written evaluations so that they may be placed in the class that will best foster their growth at each step of development. We recommend that students start with a beginning level class, but it is possible to audition for placement into an intermediate level class. We also offer performance classes that present fully staged productions. These classes immerse the students in real world preparation and performance.
Our class sizes are very small to ensure that each individual receives adequate attention. All classes are an hour long, with 5 to 10 students, and have a concluding performance, unless otherwise indicated.
Theatre Games
This non-competitive class introduces children to imaginary play, improvisation, and theatrical games. It is a terrific way to promote social skills and build confidence without the pressure of a performance. Children meet for an hour of training, exercises, and fun each week. No experience is necessary and the class may be repeated. Min 5/max 10.

Children's Musical Theatre Workshop
Learn a broad range of performance skills in this comprehensive musical threatre performance class. Encompasses acting, singing, movement, and presentation skills. Start at the beginning level or audition for advanced placement. Culminates in a performance. This is skill building class that can be taken again and again. No experience is necessary. Min 5/max 10.

Pink Pajama Party!
Pink Pajama Party is Wunder Studios’ elite all-girl musical theatre ensemble. This group presents fully staged solo, duet, and ensemble scenes. Participation is by audition only. Students must be able to learn music independently, take direction, and memorize music, movement, and dialogue. This curriculum emphasizes the development of high level performance skills. No experience necessary, but Children's Musical Theatre Workshop is recommended as a prerequisite. Min 5/max 12.

Children's Drama Workshop
Comprehensive dramatic training for children in 3rd through eighth grade. Start at the beginning level or audition for advanced placement. Culminates in a performance. No experience is necessary. Min 5/max 10.

Audition Technique
Don’t get lost in the crowd at your next audition. Learn how to prepare like a pro so that you can show your strength and range when it really counts. Our staff will help you develop tools that can really make a difference. Min 4/max 10.

Performance Class
Our performance class combines the best of practical study and performance. Participate in a fully-staged production in the historic Pickwick Theatre. Work with professional performers and directors who will challenge you and teach you things that cannot be taught in a regular classroom. No experience is necessary - this is a forum to get experience, build confidence, and expand your boundaries.
An audition is required for casting purposes, but all students participate in the production. Tuition includes all instruction/coaching, two complimentary tickets, and a cast t-shirt. Open to adults and children. Class size varies. Cost: $240.

We are all drawn to drums. The human response to rhythm is hard-wired in each of us and that response is thrilling regardless of age or background.
Group drumming is a fun, positive experience for everyone regardless of ethnic and cultural background, musical preferences, or age. Research shows that group percussion has physical benefits including sustained physical activity, relaxation, and refinement of fine motor skills. Drumming is also great for stimulating social and emotional development by promoting relaxation, communication, and a sense of belonging to the community.
Best of all drumming requires no previous musical background or training, making it accessible to virtually everyone. Join a class today and feel the beat!

Group guitar is a blast and it’s a great way to learn. Wunder Studios offers classes for all levels of guitar players from age 5 on up. Start with a beginning class and work your way on up to advanced classes and group jam sessions. When you are ready, private lessons are also available.
Kids on Guitars!
Can we jam? Yes we can! Kindergartners through 2nd graders learn basic skills on a half-sized guitar. This class requires a half-size, classical style guitar, appropriate for small hands. We do not sell instruments, but we will be happy to advise you on purchasing a guitar. Meets for 45 minutes a week. No experience is necessary. Min 5/max 10.

Rock Workshop
Play in a rock band under the guidance of a professional player. Learn the ropes and find out what it takes to put songs together. Players are grouped by skill level, but no previous band experience is required. Groups can include guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keys, and horns. This class meets for an hour each week and costs $140 for a 10 week session. Min 4/Max 9. Classes can be scheduled on evenings or Saturday afternoon. Call for details: 847/685-2030.
